Mass. gas prices are down 2 cents a gallon

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts fell for the second straight week, down 2 cents to $2.689 per gallon, AAA Southern New England said today.

The Massachusetts average for a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gas was higher than the national average of $2.66, AAA said its latest weekly survey showed.

A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was $1.82, AAA Southern New England said.
