Isaac Borenstein, a former associate justice of the Superior Court of Massachusetts, has joined Denner Pellegrino LLP, a law firm with offices in Boston. Borenstein will serve as a partner in both the criminal law and civil division of the office.
Robert Levy has been appointed to the new executive position of senior vice president and chief product officer at Progress Software Corp. of Bedford. Most recently, Levy served as the executive vice president and chief technology officer of BEA Systems.
Angie Hazard and Diana McKearney have joined the management team of Mzinga, a Waltham company that provides such social software services as analytics. Hazard will serve as vice president of talent, and McKearney will serve as vice president and general counsel.
James L. Schaye and David Peress have new titles at Hudson Capital Partners LLC, a Newton firm that has managed the liquidations of such retailers as Circuit City and Tower Records. Schaye has been named chairman of Hudson Capital Partners, in addition to his role as chief executive. Peress, who has served as chief Investment officer since February 2009, has been appointed president of the firm.
