Becker College ranks high in game design survey
Becker College said it was ranked fourth nationally and tops in New England on a list of the nation's best computer-game design schools.
The list was compiled by the Princeton Review. Becker College has a campus in Worcester.
In a press release, the college noted that Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology ranked seventh and eighth respectively on the nationwide list; other Northeastern schools making the Princeton Review's top 50 game design list included Dartmouth College, Amherst College, and Hampshire College.
In determining the rankings, the Princeton Review examined academics, faculty, infrastructure, and career opportunities.
"Looking at that list, we feel like a David among Goliaths," Paul Cotnoir, chair of the Becker College design programs, said in a statement.
