Raytheon awarded $152.4m contract modification
Waltham-based defense contractor Raytheon Co. said it received a US Army contract modification worth $152.4 million to provide engineering services for the Patriot defense system.
The engineering services will support the US Army Aviation and Missile Command and foreign military customers. The work will be performed by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems at facilities in Andover and Tewksbury as well as Huntsville, Ala., and White Sands, N.M., the company said.
Raytheon shares rose 3 cents to $57.09 in afternoon trading. Shares have ranged between $33.20 and $57.32 over the past 52 weeks.
