Amex teams with Dunkin Donuts on discounts

Habitues of Dunkin' Donuts might want to check this out: American Express said it is teaming up with the Canton-based coffee-and-baked-goods chain to offer special rewards to consumers who are members of the American Express Blue, Blue Cash, and Blue Sky programs.

Dunkin' Donuts is being added to the American Express Blue Savings Program. As a result, "every time a Blue, Blue Cash, or Blue Sky card member shops four times in a calendar month at any Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant nationwide using their American Express Card, they will receive a $5 Dunkin’ Donuts Card."

Dunkin’ is the "first dining partner" to join the program, which offers benefits such as room upgrades, discounts, food and beverage credits, and more with several travel partners including JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Renaissance Hotels & Resorts, Hertz Car Rental, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, American Express said.

To receive the Dunkin’ Donuts benefit, card members must register their Blue from American Express, Blue Cash, or Blue Sky Card by visiting this special website or by calling 1-800-794-1308. There is no cost to enroll your card, American Express said.

In the case of consumers who use their American Express cards at Dunkin' four times a month, their $5 Dunkin' Donuts card will arrive in the mail about four to six weeks following every fourth purchase, American Express said.
