Goodyear taps Digitas
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has selected Digitas as its interactive agency of record, Boston-based Digitas said today.
Digitas said it will work with Goodyear’s other agency roster members to help continue generating demand for Goodyear brands. The selection was made following a formal review.
"As interactive AOR (agency of record), Digitas will develop a transformational, unified consumer Web platform and handle all digital assignments including consumer web, digital marketing, digital media planning and buying, social and mobile marketing, search, and CRM," Digitas said in a press release.
In 2006, Digitas agreed to be acquired for $1.3 billion by Publicis Groupe of France as the French company aimed to create the world's largest digital marketing firm, a Globe story noted.
