Isis Maternity is now Isis Parenting
"Isis Maternity, The Place for Expecting and New Moms," said it has changed its name to "Isis, Parenting Starts Here."
Founded in 2003, the chain has locations in Arlington, Boston, Brookline, and Needham. The locations offer classes and courses to expectant and new mothers and they also sell products designed for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
The name change "reflects the breadth of education, products, and community that Isis delivers to its clients," Isis said in a press release.
The release included a statement from Isis Parenting president and chief executive Johanna Myers McChesney, who said: "Many parents didn’t realize that Isis offers programs and products that extend through the first three years of parenting and child development. Today we’re serving many more parents long beyond maternity – parenting truly starts here."
