The Federal Aviation Administration said today that it will be providing all of its employees with identity theft prevention services provided by Identity Force of Framingham.
The services, which will be provided for a period of 12 months, will enable FAA employees to sign up for "full identity monitoring" that will track their credit reports and other identity documents that could be altered. Identity restoration services will also be offered to any FAA employee that has his or her identity information stolen or adversely affected.
In a release, Identity Force said the contract "is part of the agency's continued response to a breach in February 2009 that exposed the personal information of more than 45,000 employees and retirees."
