Luminus partners with ABS Lighting

Luminus Devices, Inc., based in Billerica, today said that it is partnering with ABS Lighting Co. to expand its offerings to the transportation industry.

In a release, Luminus said that by working with ABS Lighting, which makes fixtures that are used in tunnels and underpasses, Luminus' solid state lighting products, which it calls PhlatLight LEDs, will be able to be used on roadway underpasses and highway tunnels.

The company said that because its lights last more than 60,000 hours, they will reduce the need to close roads or highways to replace lights.
