Stride Rite introduces Star Wars inspired shoes

Stride Rite Children's Group, , the Lexington company known for its stride rite children's shoe brand, said it has launched a stride rite collection of Star Wars themed footwear.

The collection, part of a multi-year license with Lucasfilm Ltd., includes lighted character-inspired shoes that look to appeal to young fans of the Star Wars films and the animated television series "StarWars: The Clone Wars," Stride Right said in a press release.

Stride Rite Children's Group is now part of Collective Brands Inc., a footwear retailer.
