Citizens ATMs are slated for Cumberland Farms
Citizens Financial Group Inc., the Providence-based operator of Citizens Bank, said it is has entered a partnership that will result in the rebranding of nearly 600 ATMs at Cumberland Farms convenience stores under the Citizens Bank name.
The convenience stores in question are in New England and Mid-Atlantic states, as well as some locations in Florida, Citizens said in a press release. The ATMs will be surcharge-free for all Citizens Bank and Charter One customers. Citizens said it is replacing ATMs now in Cumberland Farms stores with updated models under the Citizens brand.
"The additional ATMs at Cumberland Farms convenience stores will bring the total number of ATMs available to Citizens Bank and Charter One customers to nearly 3,800," Citizens said.
Citizens is partnering with EDC on rebranding the ATMs in Cumberland Farms stores.
California-based EDC is one of the largest non-bank service providers in the United States, with about 4,000 turnkey ATMs and self-service kiosks in its nationwide network, the Citizens press release noted.
