Dicerna closes $25m Series B financing

Dicerna Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Watertown company looking to use RNAi gene-silencing technology to develop drugs, said it has closed a $25 million Series B round of financing.
"New investor Domain Associates led the round, with all existing investors participating - Oxford Bioscience Partners, Skyline Ventures, and Abingworth," Dicerna said in a press release.
According to its website, Domain Associates has offices in Princeton, N.J., and San Diego.
"Proceeds from the financing will be used to advance Dicerna's lead in-house program in oncology towards clinical development and progress its other preclinical programs," the release added.
