Kevin Grady is joining Mullen to lead Superfine, the Boston ad agency's newly branded design group. Previously he was the head of design at the ad agency Porter Cripin + Bogusky. Mike Thompson has been appointed to the executive management team of Sepaton Inc., a Marlborough company specializing in data protection appliances. His title is executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. Thompson comes to Sepaton after serving as president, chief executive, and chairman at Egenera Corp.

Peter Cary and David White have new jobs at Ipanema Technologies, a Waltham company focused on WAN governance solutions. Cary is vice president and general manager for North America. Cary's resume includes an eight-year stint at Cisco Systems. White's new title is vice president of global business development. White joins Ipanema from WAN optimization provider Expand Networks.
