Celtics, Covidien debut Fit to Win program
The partnership features a series of “Fit to Win” programs. Presented by Covidien, a health care products company with much of its operations in Mansfield, teaches children fun and easy steps for maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, the Celtics and Covidien said in a press release.
The programs had their official debut yesterday at an event at the South Boston Boys & Girls Club. The event featured Celtics center Kendrick Perkins and rookie Avery Bradley encouraging children to exercise and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, the Celtics and Covidien said.
