Jordan's Furniture said the Enchanted Village holiday tradition can be viewed at the company's Avon location during store hours from Nov. 13 to Jan. 2.

The Enchanted Village will be open to the public free of charge, Jordan's Furniture said.

The Enchanted Village, a Victorian era holiday display featuring facades, figurines, and Yuletide scenes, was made famous by the now defunct department chain Jordan Marsh, no relation to Jordan's Furniture. When Jordan Marsh was absorbed by a larger department store chain, the Enchanted Village move to other Boston locations, including City Hall Plaza.

In 2009, Jordan's Furniture president and chief executive Eliot Tatelman bought the Enchanted Village at auction, a Jordan's Furniture press release said.

In addition to the Enchanted Village, visitors to the Jordan's Furniture store in Avon can also take in Polar Express 4D The Ride, a 20-minute multi-media experience; tickets to Polar Express 4D The Ride are $6, the company said.

The Jordan's Furniture Avon store also offers LITE, the Laser Imagination Theater Experience, a new laser-and-music show that includes traditional holiday songs and characters. Tickets to LITE are $3.

Commenting on the Enchanted Village in a statement, Tatelman said, “I am thrilled to be able to offer a wonderful New England tradition and offer families a great way to ring in the season. Last year, we had over 200,000 guests enjoy this fabulous area tradition."

Tatelman is seen above in a Globe file photo showing off a scene from the Enchanted Village.
