Dynasil chief executive plans to retire
Dynasil Corp. said that Craig T. Dunham plans to retire as chief executive during the next nine months.
It is Dunham's intention to continue to serve as CEO until a successor is selected and to assist in an orderly transition. A committee of the company's board will conduct a search for a successor and is looking to hire a national search firm to help out, Dynasil said in a press release.
Headquartered in Watertown, Dynasil provides technology, products, and services to customers in the medical, industrial, and homeland security and defense markets.
This is the first day that Dynasil stock shares will trade on the Nasdaq Global Market. The company's ticker symbol is DYSL. Dunham and Dynasil chairman Peter Sulick are scheduled to ring the closing bell on Nasdaq this afternoon. The company also plans to release its fourth-quarter earnings later today.
