Donald W. Reilly has been appointed chief financial officer of Evergreen Solar Inc., a Marlborough-based company that makes solar power products. Reilly replaces Paul Kawa, who had been serving as interim chief financial officer since September. Kawa will resume his responsibilities as Evergreen Solar's corporate controller. Reilly served most recently as chief financial officer of GTECH Corp., a subsidiary of Lottomatica S.p.A.
Joseph Benevides is the new chief executive of HouseSavvy, a Norwell-based real estate and relocation firm that advises home buyers and sellers. He will work with HouseSavvy founder Walter Hall to expand the no-cost services of the online site to the national level. Hall was the previous chief executive. Before HouseSavvy, Benevides served as senior vice president of global relocation services for Paragon Global Resources.
Walter T. McCormick and Emory W. (Sandy) Sanders Jr. will lead a new Boston-based Core Value Equity team for Manulife Asset Management. McCormick most recently was a managing director and senior portfolio manager with the Berkeley Street Equity team at Wells Capital Management.Sanders most recently was a director, portfolio manager, and senior equity analyst with the large cap equity research team at Wells Capital Management. Manulife Asset Management is the global asset management arm of Manulife Financial, a Canadian-based financial services group.
