CIGNA signs with Hill Holliday

Global health service company CIGNA has selected Boston advertising firm Hill Holliday as its agency of record.

CIGNA, which is based in Philadelphis, provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services, and group life insurance in 28 countries.

“We’re excited to team up with CIGNA," said Karen Kaplan, president of Hill Holliday, in a statement. "It’s going to be a great ride.”

CIGNA officials said that they chose Hill Hollliday because of the agency's "fully-integrated approach" to market the company outside health care categories.

“Hill Holliday’s vision for our brand is innovative and inspiring,” said Benjamin Karsch, CIGNA chief Marketing officer, in a release.

The client win is the latest for Hill Holliday. The agency has added Supercuts and Major League Baseball in recent months
