Hill Holliday is talking up MLB's Fan Cave, an "immersive fan experience" that it developed for client Major League Baseball, and the Boston ad agency is also highlighting a related video starring Red Sox slugger David Ortiz.

The video has the theme of Big Papi's New York state of mind, and it debuted over the weekend. The video was filmed while Ortiz was in New York for the Yankee series.

As for the Fan Cave, it's located in New York City's Greenwich Village, and it hosts the winners of the MLB Dream Job, a contest held earlier this year for fans that is tied to Major League Baseball's marketing efforts, Hill Holliday said. The winners were chosen from a pool of nearly 10,000 applicants.

Plans call for the winner of the MLB Dream Job, Mike O'Hara, to "inhabit the Fan Cave every day for the entire 2011 MLB season along with his Wingman, Ryan Wagner, where they will watch all 2,430 regular season games plus every Postseason game while chronicling their experiences and sharing their viewpoints on baseball and pop culture through Facebook, Twitter, MLBFanCave.com, and regular appearances on MLB Network," according to the MLB Fan Cave website.
