Erin M. Powderly is now assistant vice president in credit administration at TD Banknorth Massachusetts in Andover. Powderly had been a credit administrator at the bank.

Scott McCallister, M.D. was named chief medical officer of biotechnology company Panacos Pharmaceuticals. McCallister was previously director of virology and global medical affairs for Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.

Crystal Noble has been named account executive at Louder than Words, the media relations agency. Noble had been marketing communications and fundraising manager at Casa Myrna Vazquez.

Ying Hart is now human resources manager at Rucci, Bardaro & Barrett, P.C., the certified public accounting and business advisory firm. Hart was previously human resources manager at The Home Depot.

John J. Costa Jr. was re-elected to the board of directors at the Metro South Chamber of Commerce. Costa is president of B.C. Tent & Awning.

Stuart Swanson has been promoted to senior vice president at J.M. Perrone Co., the printing and direct marketing firm. Swanson had been vice president of the company.

Anna Chacko, MD is now vice chairman of the division of radiology at Boston Medical Center and professor of radiology at Boston University School of Medicine. Chacko was previously chairman of the department of radiology at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center.

Tom Kinney was named director of performance services at Invensys, the industrial asset performance management firm. Kinney was previously vice president for worldwide sales at ExperTune.

Dr. Jeff Leiden is now a partner at lifesciences venture capital firm Clarus Ventures. Leiden had been president and chief operating officer of the pharmaceuticals business of Abbott Laboratories.
