Campanelli Construction breaks ground on Cape Cod Lumber project
Campanelli Construction, a construction management company headquartered in Braintree, announced the groundbreaking of Cape Cod Lumber Inc.’s new retail, warehouse, and office building in Abington.
Occupying about 136,000 square feet of space, the facility will serve as Cape Cod Lumber’s company headquarters and operations center; it will also include a drive-through lumber yard designed to serve building professionals. A completion date is set for late January, Campanelli Construction said.
The company added that it is collaborating on the project with RKB Architects of Braintree and Barnes Building Inc., a Weymouth engineering firm.
The new Cape Cod Lumber facility is only a short distance away from the company’s existing facility, Campanelli Construction said.
