Sony Vaio computers now come with pre-installed Kaspersky Lab security features
Kaspersky Lab, a privately-held Internet security company with offices in Woburn, said that a free subscription of its flagship security products for at-home PC protection will now come pre-installed on all Sony Vaio systems sold in the Americas.
According to a Sony website, Vaio is a Sony line of laptop and tablet computers.
A 30-day subscription of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 will come pre-installed on all Sony Vaio PCs sold at retail and online within the United States, Canada, and Latin America, Kaspersky Lab said in a press release.
In a statement, Kaspersky Lab North America president Steve Orenberg added, “This partnership will give Sony Vaio customers a chance to experience the superior protection of Kaspersky Lab software, and to see that there really is a difference between our products and offerings from competitors.”
