The average price for gas in Massachusetts was $3.569 a gallon in the latest weekly survey from AAA, up 9 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.
This is the third consecutive week of increases, the association added; prices locally are up 20 cents over the last three weeks.
The current national average for gas is $3.47 a gallon. A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was $3.74.
AAA surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
