Ben & Jerry’s, the Vermont ice cream brand, said it is setting its Scoop Truck loose on the Boston area, starting Monday.

“Follow the truck on Twitter @BenJerrysTruck and check out www.facebook.com/benjerry,” the company said in a press release. “Tweet the truck for a chance to bring some peace, love, and new Greek Frozen Yogurt to your worthwhile event.”

Plans call for the Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Truck to be touring the Boston area through Aug. 31.

“Traditionally, when companies sample their product they stay at one spot, serve tiny little samples, and hope that consumers can find them,” Ryan Midden, general manager of Ben & Jerry’s Boston, said in a statement. “This truck tour instills the Ben & Jerry’s values and reverses that way of thinking by asking our fans where they want us to go, then we deliver with full scoops of our newest flavors. “

Many of the new flavors the brand’s new Greek Frozen Yogurt as a key ingredient.

New flavors include Strawberry Shortcake, Raspberry Fudge Chunk, Banana Peanut Butter, and Blueberry Vanilla Graham.
