Beal/Street-Works, the team that looks to redevelop 50 acres of downtown Quincy, has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle to be the exclusive leasing agent for the office and medical-office component of the $1.6 billion Quincy Center project, Jones Lang LaSalle said.

Plans also call for two new hotels, 1,400 residential units, and parking garages providing 5,000 public parking spaces.

The project’s office and medical office space accounts for about 1.1 million square feet of the 3.5 million square foot mixed-use project, said Jones Lang LaSalle, a financial and professional services firm specializing in real estate.

Beal/Street-Works is a partnership between the Beal Cos. and Street-Works Development to co-develop 50 acres of downtown Quincy.
