Continuum Managed Services completes its relocation to Boston by moving into new offices
Continuum Managed Services LLC said Tuesday that it has completed the relocation of its worldwide headquarters from Pittsburgh to new offices in Boston.
Continuum develops and supports software that information-technology services organizations use to remotely monitor and manage the computer systems of small- and mid-sized businesses. Continuum also sells back-up and disaster-recovery products.
Summit Partners, an investment firm with offices in Boston, became Continuum’s majority owner about a year ago, and one reason for the relocation is to be close to Summit, Continuum chief executive Michael George said in a statement. Boston’s “strong talent pool of executives and professionals with extensive technology experience” also was a factor in the move, George said.
According to Continuum, many of its clients are turning to video as a way to reach out to prospects and customers. To address this trend, Continuum’s new Boston space will be home to “a world-class media production capability” that will be available to clients to support of their marketing and lead generation programs, George said in a press release.
Continuum’s new Boston office can accommodate more than 100 employees; it currently has 23, Continuum said. The company’s executive management team and its media production personnel will be based in the Boston office. With a subsidiary in Mumbai, India, Continuum said its worldwide head-count is 650 employees.Chris Reidy can be reached at email@example.com.
