Merrimack Pharmaceuticals is taking more space at One Kendall Square in Cambridge
Merrimack Pharmaceuticals Inc. has signed a lease for a bit less than 110,000 square feet of space at One Kendall Square in Cambridge, said a broker involved in the transaction.
The broker is Colliers International, which represented Merrimack in the lease negotiations. The lease represents a 25,000 square foot expansion for Merrimack. The firm Cassidy Turley FHO represented the landlord, the Beal Cos., in lease negotiations.
A biopharmaceutical company, Merrimack looks to commercialize innovative medicines paired with companion diagnostics for the treatment of serious diseases, with an initial focus on cancer.
The One Kendall Square campus is made up of nine buildings totaling more than 670,000 square feet of laboratory, office, and retail space. The site is a short walk to the MIT campus and the MBTA Red Line station at Kendall Square.
