Massachusetts gas prices up 4 cents a gallon

The average price for gas in Massachusetts was $3.889 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, up 4 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Tuesday.
Massachusetts prices locally are up 8 cents over the past month.
The current national average is $3.81 a gallon. A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average was $3.41 a gallon.
AAA’s weekly surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
