Goodwin Procter, an international firm based in Boston, said Wednesday that it has as been named as a “Best Law Firm for Women” by Working Mother and Flex-Time Lawyers for the third consecutive survey year.
Law firms with more than 50 attorneys may apply to be on Working Mother and Flex-Time Lawyers’ list. In drawing up their list, Working Mother and Flex-Time Lawyers examine such factors as family-friendly benefits and policies, compensation, and the firms’ records for advancing and retaining women.
“We’re honored to have been selected by Working Mother for inclusion in this pioneering group for the third time,” Goodwin Procter chairman Regina M. Pisa said in a statement. “This award recognizes the work of the many individuals who have contributed to the progress of the firm’s Women’s Initiative and encourages all of us to do even more in the future.”
With more than 850 attorneys, the firm has offices in such places as Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco besides Boston.
