Medical education provider Pri-Med buys Amazing Charts, an electronic health records firm

Pri-Med, a Boston-based provider of professional medical education to a community of more than 260,000 clinicians, said Monday that it has purchased Amazing Charts, a Rhode Island company that provides electronic health records to independent medical practices.

Pri-Med’s press release said that financial details of the transaction are not being disclosed.

Amazing Charts will operate as an independent subsidiary of Pri-Med, and Amazing Charts founder Jonathan Bertman will continue to serve as president, the release said.

With the acquisition of Amazing Charts, Pri-Med said it “gains a next-generation medical education platform strategically located at the point of patient care.”
