Boston.com plans full coverage of Black Friday shopping with tweets and live blog
Shopping will escalate into both an art form and a mad scramble over the next few days. Black Friday, of course, is regarded by many as the official start of the holiday shopping season. But in places such as New Hampshire, consumers can start shopping on Thanksgiving Day itself. (Massachusetts Blue Laws prohibit most Bay State stores from opening on Thanksgiving.)
There are a number of ways to follow the shopping action, starting on Thanksgiving at 8 p.m. and cranking up on Black Friday.
Boston.com will feature a live blog that includes posts and photos from Boston Globe staffers and free-lancers at stores and malls in the Boston region.
This shopping SWAT team will also be tweeting updates and links to Boston.com coverage. Follow @BostonBiz on Twitter for Black Friday updates. If you want to share your deals and shopping experiences, you can do so by using #BDCBlackFriday on Twitter.
