SynapDx Corp., a provider of laboratory diagnostics to doctors who suspect children of developmental disorders, has leased 10,724 square feet of laboratory space at 4 Hartwell Place in Lexington, said a broker involved in the transaction.
In establishing a new corporate headquarters in Lexington, SynapDx will consolidate two locations in Woburn and Southborough. SynapDx was represented in the transaction by the firm of Cassidy Turley.
In a separate transaction, Richards Barry Joyce said that it represented King Street Properties in a 7,700-square-foot lease by Promedior Inc. That lease is for lab space at 101 Hartwell Avenue in Lexington.
In December, the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center announced that Promedior planned to relocate to the Boston area from Greater Philadelphia. Promedior is a biotechnology company developing therapeutics for the treatment of fibrosis. T3 Advisors represented Promedior in lease negotiations.
King Street Properties is a private real estate investment management firm focused on serving the real estate needs of science-based companies and institutions in Greater Boston.
In a statement, Eric Smith, senior vice president of Richards Barry Joyce, said, “The upgrades and improvements implemented by King Street across its three-building Lexington portfolio have resulted in a unique park-like setting that appeals to a wide variety of life sciences companies.”
