Restaurants Besito and Tokyo Japanese Steak House are coming to the Mall at Chestnut Hill
Fans of Mexican food and Japanese steak might be interested to know that two restaurants featuring such cuisines are scheduled to open later this year at the Mall at Chestnut Hill.
One restaurant is called Besito, which supposedly means “little kiss.” It will seek to recreate the ambiance of a hacienda as it dishes up fare that captures “the spirit of Mexico,” according to the mall’s press release. Besito is scheduled to open at the mall in July, and it will be located in space formerly occupied by Charlie’s Saloon.
The second new restaurant is Tokyo Japanese Steak House. It plans to offer “an authentic Japanese experience, giving guests an opportunity to try an extensive range of cuisine while talented chefs prepare fresh steak and seafood tableside,” the release said.
With more than 60 “specialty boutiques,” the Mall at Chestnut Hill is anchored by Bloomingdale’s in two locations, with the Women’s store located at the west end and the Men’s Home & Furnishing store anchoring the east end.
