Amtrak said Monday that it is launching a new advertising campaign called “Take Off” to promote its premium business class that is available for travel between Boston, New York and Washington, D.C.
The campaign suggests that a business people will find the Acela train to be a productive and comfortable way to travel.
Ads feature such headlines as “Please Continue to Use All Electronic Devices,” “Seatbacks May Remain Reclined for As Long as You Like,” and “Today’s Trip is Full of Leg Room.”
In a statement, Matt Hardison, Amtrak’s chief marketing and sales officer, said: “The new campaign reflects the enhanced amenities and services that Acela provides for its business travelers.
