Nearly 20 years ago, the Selvaggi Family opened a studio to let kids be creative and independent by painting and decorating pottery. Nine stores later, the Selvaggis are looking for a strategic investor or buyer to help the company grow nationally and internationally.
“I’d be willing and excited to help a growth oriented successor to roll Plaster Fun Time out across New England and then the country,” says Mark Selvaggi, President. “We could identify 100 new locations in short order. But that kind of growth, to be done right, requires people and capital.” Mark is only interested in working with companies ready to fuel the Plaster Fun Time growth strategy.
Plaster Fun Time, which has locations in Braintree, Framingham, Newton, Reading, Salem, Saugus, Chelmsford, Dedham, and Waltham offers plaster painting for kids.
The company has no specific timetable to find a buyer and all stores will continue to operate normally while a partner or buyer is sought. It is represented by Paul Siegenthaler of Ridge Hill Partners, Inc., a boutique merger and acquisition intermediary firm with offices in Needham.Daniel B. Kline can be reached at email@example.com.
