Hasbro Inc., a Rhode Island company known for such toys as GI Joe and Mr. Potato Head, has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle as the exclusive property manager for Hasbro’s new US sales and marketing headquarters in downtown Providence, Jones Lang LaSalle said.
The six-story 135,908-square-foot first class office center recently underwent an extensive capital improvements program. The building is owned by Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust Inc., and it was formerly occupied by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, said Jones Lang LaSalle, a large commercial real estate company with a big presence in Boston.
The building is directly off I-95 and across from the Dunkin’ Donuts Center and Rhode Island Convention Center.
The building’s features include an employee cafeteria, a fitness center, and an underground parking garage for 50 vehicles. The architect is Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype Inc.
