Cushman & Wakefield, a large commercial real estate firm, said Thursday that it has relocated its Boston office from 125 Summer St. to 225 Franklin Street in larger space designed to promote its culture of collaboration, teamwork, and information sharing.
“At Cushman & Wakefield, we understand that teamwork and collaboration are what drive innovation and meaningful value for our clients,” Thomas L. Collins, executive managing director of Cushman & Wakefield’s New England Area, said in a statement.
The new 36,555-square-foot space occupies most of 225 Franklin St.’s third floor, and Cushman & Wakefield said it has options to expand into the balance of the floor; 225 Franklin is a 34-story office building directly adjacent to Post Office Square Park. The firm’s Boston head count is 98.
Architectural design services for the project were provided by Visnick & Caulfield Associates with Shawmut Design & Construction as the General Contractor. Environments at Work and Red Thread provided the office furnishings.
At 125 Summer St., Cushman & Wakefield occupied 29,249 square feet on three floors.
Equity Office Properties is the landlord at both 225 Franklin St. and 125 Summer St.
