Mass. gas prices fall 3 cents a gallon, AAA Southern New England says
The average price of gas in Massachusetts was $3.66 a gallon in the latest weekly survey from AAA, down 3 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Tuesday.
Massachusetts prices are up 4 cents a gallon over the last month.
The current Massachusetts price is 14 cents higher than the current national average of $3.52 a gallon. A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was a penny higher at $3.67.
In the latest weekly Massachusetts survey, the range in prices was 30 cents, from a low of $3.55 to a high of $3.85. AAA’s weekly surveys focus on unleaded regular gas.Chris Reidy can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
