The Langham, Boston said that Richard Bussiere is the hotel’s new managing director.
He succeeds Serge Denis, who retired after 20 years at the downtown hotel.
Bussiere is a New England native who has spent much of his career managing hotels in Asia, Australia, and the South Pacific.
The Langham, Boston, which was previously the Federal Reserve Bank, has 318 guest rooms.
In a statement, Bussiere said: “Returning home to New England to join such a celebrated luxury hotel is an honor. After 27 years overseas, I am eager to bring my experience and expertise to the Langham, Boston, where I will lead an accomplished team renowned for its stellar guest service.”
