
Saab cut the bubble off its fighter jet-inspired 9-X BioHybrid, which as you can guess, sports a hybrid powertrain and E85-powered engine.
The cloth roof stows flat and neatly covers the wraparound windshield, which gradually slopes downward toward the rear of the car. It's an elegant look that disappears once the top and windows are down. That's when those rear buttresses, which flow into the dark black side glass, become strangely disjointed.
The 9-X coupe that premiered in Geneva is also awkward, but the roofline at least stays consistent.
