Huzzah! Along with the Brooklands coupe, the Arnage Final Series is an old money send-off of Crewe's finest — the heaviest, most powerful luxury sedan on the planet. It will give way to a new, more modern Bentley like that of the Continental Flying Spur.
The Arnage hasn't changed much in 10 years, its 6.75 liter V-8, now supercharged to 500 horsepower (and a devilish 738 lb.-ft. of torque), essentially dating to the Korean War. But age was never an issue for this car. Its four round headlamps, wire mesh grill and wide, squared-off body panels give the Arnage a custom, Saville Row appeal that a Maybach can never achieve.
All the failing banks in the world couldn't stop Bentley from selling every one of the planned 150 cars. That's a business we'd all love to be in.
