After Chrysler's out-of-the-blue collection of piecemeal electric concepts (a sports car lifted from Lotus, and the latest, a modified Jeep Patriot), the 200C EV provides some fresh, all-original thought.

From this photo, the 200C EV has shades of Hyundai Genesis in the profile, wheels, and front-end treatments. Only a large wing badge makes this car and its claimed 40-mile all-electric range stand out.

Inside is where the real party is. A touch-screen glass dashboard, Internet access and an otherworldly ability to locate other cars on the map are all included.
