2011 Scion iQ

First unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in 2008, the Toyota iQ is Japan’s official answer to the Smart ForTwo. Here it falls under Toyota’s sportier Scion brand (side shock: it’s also an Aston Martin).

The 120-inch-long iQ is what Toyota calls a “3+1”, with room for three adults and “a child, small package, or pet.” Like the Smart, safety is paramount, with 10 airbags (including the first-ever rear window airbag) and the requisite traction/stability control.

Combined EPA fuel economy should be “in the high 30s” and prices will be announced closer to the car’s sale early 2011.
