The North American International Auto Show in Detroit has been gaining steam since the dark days of the auto bailout. For the 2012 edition, the spectacle of the Motor Citys crown jewel appears to be fully restored, with big-budget displays and vehicles worthy of the fanfare. Fords display was the size of a city block, with a second-level lounge that looked like the bridge of a battle ship. We got lost in there — twice.
