This North America-only model has a new front, rear and interior but shares the same engine and transmission as the Dodge. VW hopes to sell 34,000 of them, and with an expected base price of under $25,000, it probably can. If you like the idea of folding the rear seats into the floor, however, the Routan won't offer that.
