Dodge Challenger SRT8

The mother of all retro muscle car concepts will come to production this spring, at least a good year ahead of the resurging Chevrolet Camaro. Yes, it's got a Hemi, and yes, it's not a new idea at all, but the aging baby boomers who grew up with the original are lined up (more than 6,000 buyers have placed deposits).

Just 6,400 examples of the 425 hp coupe will be made this year, which comes only in orange, black or silver. The MSRP is just over $40,000. Dodge promises this new Challenger will have full capacity to steer, brake and even do both simultaneously.
