Nissan Denki Cube Concept

For years the Cube has stood out among the sea of Japanese minicars as a rolling passion play for the square, just like the 1996 Ford Taurus showed love for the oval.

Now the Denki Cube is here (Japanese for "electric") armed with lithium-ion batteries and an electric motor. No word on its production, but a redesigned gas version is coming to the US next year to do battle with the more rounded Scion xB.
