The National Insurance Crime Bureau pulled together this list of most-stolen SUVs and crossovers after looking through theft data from Jan. 1, 2008, to June 30, 2012, on 2009-2011 model-year cars.

The Nissan Murano ranked 10th with 473 thefts.

The Nissan Rogue ranked ninth with 547 thefts. There are seven crossovers on the list and three SUVs.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee ranked eighth with 641 thefts.

The Jeep Wrangler ranked seventh with 643 thefts.

The Honda CR-V ranked sixth with 643 thefts.

The Dodge Journey ranked fifth with 721 thefts.

The Ford Edge ranked fourth with 739 thefts. Ford is the only manufacturer with same-segment two vehicles on the list, the Edge and the Escape, both of which are entry-level crossovers.

The Toyota RAV4 ranked third with 801 thefts.

The Chevrolet Tahoe ranked second with 856 thefts. It was the largest vehicle on NICB’s list.

The Ford Escape topped the list with 1,014 thefts.
