BMW 5-Series: An option ($500) which, for most models, requires consumers to purchase a premium option package ($2,100 or $2,300)
Infiniti FX35: Part of a technology package ($4,050); requires the consumer to purchase a $600 hands-free option.
Infiniti FX45: Part of a technology package ($4,050)
Volvo S80, V70, XC70: Part of a collision-avoidance package ($1,695) that includes other safety features such as adaptive cruise control, collision warning, distance alert, and distance alert control.
Buick Lucerne: Lane-departure warning ($295) and blind zone detection ($395) are packaged together and require the consumer to buy the driver confidence package ($995) for $1,685. But currently, and probably for the remainder of the 2008 model year, the three are available for $1,185.
Cadillac DTS: Stand-alone option at $295; standard equipment on the Platinum model
Cadillac STS: The warning system and blind zone detection are part of a driver awareness package ($1,290) on the STS Platinum and STS-V top-of-the-line models.
LANE-DEPARTURE PREVENTION
Infiniti M35 and 45: Part of an advanced technology package ($2,800); also requires the the technology package ($3,350). It is also part of the premium package ($9,650) which includes all the features from the advanced technology package, the technology package, and even more.
Infiniti EX35 Journey: Part of the technology package ($1,950)
