The biggest distraction would be all the massive SUVs out there that block visibility for the smaller cars. Almost without exception, all those drivers are on their *bleep* cell phones. Hang up and Drive!! Got Roadrage? Don't get mad: get even! www.aboveaveragedriver.com

What distracts me on my commute are people who throw their cigarettes out the window....That's what your ashtray is for...

Cell phones are definitely the biggest distraction. It's like people forget that they are driving at all. I had a lady cross over into my lane on the highway not even knowing she was doing it. To top it off when I beeped she got mad at me. Get's me mads just thinking about it.

Anytime you take your eyes off the road for even a second you are putting yourself in potential danger. Here is a list of different things that I have seen distract drivers: 1. Using a cellphone (dialing numbers) 2. Reaching for a CD or playing around with the raido. 3. Eating or drinking 4. Another passanger in the car can be a distraction, especially kids fighting in the back seat 5. putting on makeup or shaving with an electric shaver 6. fooling around with your girlfriend or boyfriend (yes it happens) 7. A sneeze 8. looking for a street address (paying attention to the signs or numbers and not the road) 9. And finally, an accident. I do not understand why when there is an accident everyone else must stop and look and see what happened. It causes the traffic to be 100 times slower and the second you pass the accident the traffic speeds back up again and is once again normal.
